Featuring high-quality videos from my podcast episodes and music news stories. All videos are unique and created to provide additional information about the topics we cover throughout the interviews.
Although I officially launched full in bloom in 2002, I did not begin conducting interviews until 2005. The following years, I published print-only interviews, but in 2019 I decided to launch the full in bloom Podcast. If you ever check out my numerous print interviews, you'll see that I am still obsessed with the same info as I was in 2005. For those of you who have been with me since the early days, thank you, and welcome to those finding me for the first time.

George Lynch on His Steroid Use: "You pay the price for all cheating" - Interview
RIP MARK BAM BAM MCONNELL
I have no dohbt that Sebastian is hard to deal with. But this guy sounds like he's one of those guys who will just get rid of members right and left to the point of counterproduction. But chemistry is everything and now where is he? Whats his net worth how well is his music known etc. Sebastian got the last laugh.
Does anybody know if Axl Rose took up Vince Neil’s request about fighting?
Can someone please tell me who this interviewer is? His voice is amazing and he seems to know a ton about the business. Who is it?
Why did all these hair bands think that looking like they were all girls posing for playboy was metal? Im angry that they made us think this was normal. Now all i see is a bunch of weirdos.
23:24 Slappin' da bass.
Bach is and has always been a tool
Whiner!
Ha! I grew up in Port Huron, MI. Too funny
Good grief man back in the late 20th century me an my budz went to catch David Lee Roth at Roseland and Sebastián was in the row right in front of us and at one point we all watched him whip out his dick to piss in the aisle. Classy dude.
"It's A Critical Addiction"....
I remember madam x adverts. And thats it. Sounds like la bida loca!!!
Dude was HANDED a career by his record executive uncle and still dicked it up. All the job requires- fit the boots, stay conscious and ride the tonic in 4/4. The last two are optional.
Great stuff! Godzilla is badass!
Yeah that's the way it goes
This dude is extremely smart. It had to he hard, especially in those days, to not be partying constantly. He even said 'its the music business, not the music party. Great comment. Bach is a raging immature ass hat even now...could you imagine at 18? They needed a 55 gal drum of Ritalin for the guy.
I saw Madam X a few times in the 80's at a place called The Weigh (Way?) Station in Oxford Michigan. The only reason we went to that bar was they had "Drink and Drown" night on Wednesdays and you paid 5 or 10 bucks to get in and drank as much as you could between 8pm and midnight. That being said, when I saw Madam X they had a guy playing drums (not the Vixon chick) and the girl guitar player was okay from a playing standpoint but she was kind of rough to look at. She ran around flicking her tongue like she was Gene Simmons. Although the band was pretty tight musically they were total posers (Poison with a girl guitar player) with extremely generic sounding originals. They all had poofy hair, and obviously they were more concerned with image than they were with writing or playing good music.
EXACTLY!!! I always got that impression of Madam X. Even after Roxy started playing drums with them it just seemed like a gimmick group.
I like Baz immensely but he's a grown man child.
First of all I want to say "thank you" to all the people that is part of this channel. Over the last 5-6 years the internet has permitted the truth to arise, and I mean the truth because I believe not only me, but thousands of Ozzy's fans had a different version of the real facts. Getting to hear all of these interviews and narrations has led me to disappointment, 30-35 years ago I would think of Ozzy as a hero, nowadays I think he is a dark and greedy person, worst than Mr. Scrooge, and now I appreciate musicians more than ever, for their hard work and contribution to music, Ozzy talks about Randy like he was his best friend or something, but the truth was brutally different, and I realize now how terrible must be to work with someone like Ozzy. Randy was in a crossroads, and I am so sure he badly wanted out of Ozzy.
Madam X, never heard of her.
he is such a victim of the covid narrativ - It must be really stupid to open your mouth like that and then in the end everything turns out to be a lie. Just as those he insulted said from the beginning.
Da fuck. I guess all those people dying miserably while gasping for air in the ICU (including a friend of mine) were "a lie"....
Open his mouth... well, unless he's got the ol' ball gag in it... 🤣
@@MrMatthiasSchneideryes it was. Your "friend" had other medical issues that any illness like that would've affected
So Seb was a mron from day one trying to cross the border ... yeah gee why would Snake and Rachel want him back in Skid Row .. the "child within the man" is still running the show
He was literally a child at that time.
The reunion will probably never happen. But the new Bach album is superior to the Skid Row album that came out last year.
God. We were kids. The further down the road I go, I see more of my past.
Boy people try to paint their picture. In totality, you let this dude pass, you lost with your choice. Live with it you were wrong.
They still may have not gone anywhere with him. Skid Row wrote great songs and are all talented before Bach.
And, NO ONE knows this clown...
Being close to that scene a lot of his stories are off timeline and his self importance of launching Seb were revisionist history.
14:05 looks like an old pantera pic :P
😂
This is awesome. FIB RULES
Fuck yeah 🤘
Canadians are awesome people. Most of them are tough and honest to a fault. He was immature and has/had some issues --- that's normal when you become a rock star and you look like the child of robert plant and david lee roth ....... and the voice ---- he should have taken care of himself better but it's not surprising ---- i'm here for the music --- in that moment he/they were great --- they cut through the din --- it's all just history now
These eighties guys made me hate rock with all of the crossdressing and makeup and hairspray 😂😂😂😂
Great interview.. Great Rock History.. ✌️
Those pics are like the quasi trans movement of the 80s!!!😮😅😂😂😂
Biggest mistake this guy ever made was getting rid of Sebastian. No one knows who his band is except for a few die-hard fans.
That's what critics said about Pete Best!
I grew up in Michigan near Detroit and have never heard of them
Sebastian alone wouldn't have saved them. Skid Row had two strong hits out the gate, written by Bolan/Sabo, as most of their songs are. Sebastian did have the perfect voice for it, but those songs could've worked with other vocalists. And to this day, they've never wanted him back. Some people make things unendurable, regardless how good they are at what they do.
Madame X were sub par as writers.
Part of the magic of this channel is seeming to always have the perfect dance partner. Great interview and subject!
You didn't need a passport to cross back and forth between the US and Canada back then.
Nope. That changed after 911. We used to do to the States all the time. At the border, they'd asked a few questions and you were allowed to enter and vice versa.
@@shaneyoung3407 I lived in St. Clair Shores and Mt. Clemens as a kid. I can't begin to count how many times I've been over the bridge. When passports became mandatory to travel back and forth it absolutely shocked me to the core. It still does.
True. On the Maine/NB border it was: Where you folks headed today? (Brought) anything back with you? Have a nice day.
Same in NNY where I grew up, went to Kingston alot, only needed a driver's license. Having said that going into Canada was never a problem, coming back you could get in but the US border patrol was more likely to grill you and search you if you looked ir acted suspicious. Mainly they were trying to catch you sneaking hash/weed or Canadian beer back in.
Good stuff, man. Keep it up!
Tony was a great guy and drummer when he was sober. Yet he could never stay sober back then, and he was the worst kind of junkie to be around when he was high. Blackie is an asshole and greedy, yet Tony would of been dead if he went on that first tour, he was half way there at that time. W.A.S.P. did the right thing for him and them at that point. Truth is a bitch.
You can take getting fired as an opportunity or a failure.
Madam X was a popular act in the Detroit area. While folks think Bach is a better singer I have to disagree. The bands best works were with the bands original singer Kaiser imo. Seem's Bach started off Immature and has kept the immaturity train rolling to this day. I was fortunate too catch both Madam X and Seduce in their hey day's in 1984 and 85 both were highly legit bands that should had gotten bigger but didnt.
There used to be videos of Skid Row's original singer performing songs off the debut album. All of the melodies and lyrics were exactly the same as what Bach recorded. Of course Bach added higher notes and vocal divebombing but that's it. It was clear he had no part of Skid Row's songwriting and musical arrangements and just sang the script that was handed to him.
There are still a few videos of Matt Fallon singing. Def a different voice and range. Matt also sang for early Anthrax.
1st record was almost 95% written when he came into the band.
I heard them, and the melodies are not the same. Bach really added to those songs. He is a toxic person, but you have to give him credit for his contributions.
And what about Slave? That album blows their first out of the water and that's him all over it.
I love you Randy, and will miss you forever. JET
Hes got that late 80s early 90s ego
MADAM X - great release. Even the concert footage “ High in High School “. Great glimpse !
Difficult to follow this guy's story....
Why?
He's trying way too hard to justify his terrible "business" decision... back in the day, now he's only relevant because Bas was briefly I abandoned with him.
@@thedude4672 All this stuff that supposedly happened backstage in Baltimore or wherever... it was a confusing, stream-of-consciousness diatribe.
America should thank me that I pushed him to the limit, he says. Who is that clown?
The guy who Sebastian learned from and who fired him, which led to Bach's Skid Row tenure. So yeah, Skid Row fans should thank him
@@thedude4672 Wow, I hope you thank your boss when he fires you
Exactly-he's is a clown and his memory of everything is quite amusing if you were there.
@@thedude4672 maybe, but that's not something you proclaim or demand, it reeks of sour grapes or ego, either one nobody respects, just makes you look petty and undermines your position

@@thedude4672 Probably, but, no. I haven’t.

Tony you got fired because you were off the hook and not dependable! Blackie wanted what's best for the band and yes you would have been trouble down the road ! But it's funny you blame everyone else for the way you were !
